Transact Member Survey 2010
Transact is currently reviewing the way we work and we want to hear from you! For those members who have yet to complete it, the Transact Survey is available to complete online.
The survey takes no longer than 10 minutes to complete and as an added incentive all respondents will be entered into a draw to win £100 of High Street vouchers and a pass entitling you to free access to Transact events for life. 250 runners up will receive a free copy of the personal finance handbook, which normally retails for £16.50

Comic Relief UK Grant Programme - Cycle 4 Now Open to Applications
Comic Relief\'s UK Grant Programme aims to bring about positive and lasting change in the lives of poor and disadvantaged people in the UK by investing in work that addresses people\'s immediate needs, as well as tackling the root causes of poverty and injustice.
Registered charities and voluntary organisations (including social enterprises and community interest companies) in the UK are invited to apply for grants of between £25,000 and £40,000.
The deadline for Cycle 4 applications is 17 September 2010.

Responsible Credit UK Convention 2010 - 19-20 October.
Supported by Transact, the Convention is for all those involved in the design and delivery of services responding to debt problems and financial exclusion at the national and local levels.

Current Consultations
The FSA are conducting a consultation into proposals to change the Banking Conduct of Business Sourcebook (BCOBS) guidance covering the right to set-off retail consumer accounts.
Proposed changes cover the amount of information that financial institutions should provide to customers about the right to set-off and when it is appropriate for them to implement this right.
The proposals begin at section 7 on page 44. The deadline for responses is September 6th.
